Our Focus:
Continuity of Care for Compassionate Palliative Support
We understand that continuity of care is especially important in palliative care. Whenever possible, we strive to minimize caregiver changes so that clients and families can build a familiar, trusting relationship with their caregiver. As caregivers become more familiar with a client's routines, preferences, and individual needs, they are better able to provide personalized, compassionate support.
A typical live-in shift includes at least 10 hours of care each day. These hours may be provided as a continuous shift or divided into separate time blocks—typically from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a break, then 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.—depending on your family's needs.
